Halloween: Pumpkin Redux

Our pumpkins from last week's carving party melted, under the relentless rollercoaster of hot-then-cold-then-dry-then-humid beat of Austin's fall...

Determined for a festive Halloween, despite our lone Cat-in-the-Hat trick-or-treater, we carved new pumpkins and watched American Psycho.

(I don't know if I like Christian Bale's dance moves to "It's Hip To Be Square" donned in a plastic raincoat better than the shit-eating grin when Willem Dafoe pulls the Huey Lewis and the News CD from his briefcase...)

Top that with a Creepy Nightcrawler Thai Peanut dish and amazing Carrot Cake cupcakes (Ryan is a devil of a baker!! Beautiful for breakfast!) and you have a memorable night!










A pumpkin-like Jack Skellington and a classic Jabortnik.
