Soup Day with Mom

On the day it snowed, Mom decided it was "soup day." Ryan cut her hair that morning (beautiful job, of course!) and I took her to Central Market for some groceries. She wasn't sure what kind of soup she wanted to make - but the vegetables spoke to her and it became a vegetable minestrone soup. YUM!
















Yum, yum, yum!! As we sat down to eat it she mentioned it would be better the next day - and it certainly was and will be even better today.

The parents and Grandpa Sam are back up in Dallas to finish their trip - it was great to have them here and especially wonderful to catch up with Grandpa. We talked and talked and talked. He's an amazing man.
