Mercedes-Benz Museum Tickets

Although our first trip to Deutschland was to pick up a BMW, these days we've moved over to the Mercedes-Benz side of the world. This makes it incredibly handy that we are traveling to Stuttgart, home of Mercedes-Benz.

The wonderful folks at Mercedes-Benz of Austin helped hook us up with the contacts to schedule a factory tour, which is now booked, and today complimentary tickets to the museum arrived along with a cute passport holder. 

Yesterday evening we watched an hour and a half's worth of travel footage from our 2006 trip. Oh boy, we are pretty hilarious. To probably no one but ourselves.

I bought a new camcorder for the 2008 trip, but it mostly sucked because the microphone picked up the sound of the mini-DVD disc spinning. What most people do these days is record from their camera and keep enough SD cards, which are relatively cheap these days, and so I may try that out.
