Away we go!

We timed everything pretty damn perfectly—slept great last night, had the whole day to do chores, errands, catch up on work, have final tacos at Torchy’s and run through last-minute items with the Housesitter. (Thank God for her; she is a lifesaver and brings such calm to the house.)

Of course there were thirty minutes of “Oh Shit the WiFi Went Down” due to my adamant desire to reset the router per random FBI instructions about Russians and stuff. 30 minutes later and after a phone call with our dear A/V expert Stephen we were back in business. My Rick Steve’s Copenhagen travel book is sitting in the mailbox for him since he leaves next week and we nixed it from this trip to spend more time in Munich. It takes a village!

We took a RideAustin since Ryan lovingly washed and fueled all cars before tucking them in the garage—and here we are! Awaiting boarding and in the meantime will catch up with friends who are landing perfectly at the same time.
