Crochet

Like a needed a new hobby - after tackling Scrapbooking, Photo-scrapbooking, Canvas Painting, and Paint by Numbers...I've tackled Crochet! Ryan's mom tried to teach me it on our last trip to Utah and I didn't do so well. But, last weekend Jo-Ann's had an amazing sale and while we were waiting for fabric to be cut (we were #33 and they were on #1 when we pulled our number) I decided to look at yarn. That night during the Oscar's I tried and muddled through a H hook and wool...the next day I bought some Acrylic and made my first few single and double crochet examples...

Then, I worked on what was going to be a dishcloth but then it turned into a cuff of some shirt then a coffee cup cover then a liquor bottle cover (see below)...

...then finally it turned into a bag that, in a circular fun fashion, I'm using to store my yarn!

And yesterday I made a little CrochetCoaster!

I love being crafty!!
