Frizzante Italia!! Ciao Firenze, Buon Giorno Venezia!

Yesterday, during our daytrip to Siena, we climbed the tower and caught awe-inspiring, vertigo-inducing (and panic attack causing) views of the Tuscan wonderland.

This morning brought no train strikes but our lovely hotel (right outside the Duomo) was out of ink to print train tickets and the train agency next door had compiter problems. I love how you just have to expect that sort of thing here.

So we headed to Santa Maria Novella on the way to the train station and ... oh we just have to let you smell us to know how wonderful the scents and cremes and lotions are to behold.

Train station...madness...tickets to Venezia? Sold out for the next two trains. Oh well, we booked the 12:07 and went for a walk. Bus tour to a hilltop town? Why not?? The view was killer.

Then to Venezia and to a laundry shop to press our clothes. Ahh Venice.

The wedding is tomorrow but I have to say I quite enjoyed holding our pressed outfits on the Vaparetto back to our cute flat.

And with all that done we joined the locals for a Spritz (white wine, soda, and Campari) while watching dogs run free, children running even more free, and families enjoying a nice Friday evening in their local Campo.

Ok haha we had the AC apparently too high in our room and a neighbor knocked on the proprietors door complaining about the noise. He had to come show us the appropriate setting. I'm sure this sort of thing has happened for a few hundred years here. Oops!

- Ciao!
