This Sunday has been filled with research. One bit of great news is that I'm a certified Travel Agent now! This not only is helpful as a handy career alternative, but I truly am passionate about it and am happy to be a card-carrying member of CLIA. Thanks to Melissa for pushing me along through it. You can check out their travel agency and blog: www.tripstothemouse.com.
Today I discovered a cool app, called Ulmon, with free city guides and a super handy map. We mapped out some bike rides, including one along the Isar River that Rick Steves recommends. There is a biergarten that we planned to train down to, but it's only a 30 minute bike ride up the beautiful Isar River.
Another tip I re-discovered is that the default Apple Maps program is horrible and also does not provide bike routes. Not only does the Google Maps program give great directions, but the preview feature is amazing for planners/OCDs like me.
(At first I read the above direction as "Schlechtweg" which would mean "Bad Path" - hahaha!)
Love planning!
Tschüß!
